Brief Introduction to AASA The Architects Association of South Asia

The Architects Association of South Asia (AASA) is a regional platform established to unite national architectural institutes and professionals across South Asia. Formally founded in Kathmandu in August 2025 & inaugurated with its first Assembly in Dhaka in December 2025, AASA is created to foster collaboration, research and exchange among the youths and professional in the field of architecture in the South Asian region. By amplifying South Asia’s collective voice, AASA seeks to address common challenges faces within the region such as climate resilience, disaster preparedness, housing & urban growth, and to represent Soth Asian architects on the global stage.
